🐳 Honda Accord 8Th Gen Problems
The tensioner on my nephews 2007 honda accord is starting to fail. When the radiator fan turns on the tensioner starts making noise and has slight movement (back & forth). In the past it didn't do this, now it does. He has 151,000 miles with the original tensioner & serpentine belt. Bought the more expensive honda oem tensioner (31770-PNA-023
20 months ago - My passenger airbag sensor keeps showing up on my dashboard that it's disabled. Went to the Honda dealership and they replaced the airbag. The issue went away. 16 months ago - I let my battery die; twice within a month. AAA came and told me my battery was totally shot. 14 months ago - The passenger airbag light problem came back.
Repeat on the other side. Reinstall the rear wheels, jack the car back up, remove the jack stands, and lower the car. Tighten all four bolts (inner and outer on both sides) to 70-85 lb-ft. I could only torque the driver's side inner bolt due to not having enough clearance with my car on the ground.

Our sun visors split apart down the middle. The two halves wrap around the rod. If you remove the 2 screws holding the sun visor together, you can split the visor, starting at the point closest to the mount. The two screws are behind the vanity mirror lights on either side of the sun visor mirror.

1824 posts · Joined 2008. #2 · Nov 19, 2009. Most of the issue was V6 AT. The transmission wasn't fed enough oil = overheat = gear blades break off. i4 AT is solid. Cooler is not needed, but wouldn't hurt. Yes. You can use Magnefine or OEM filter. 2013 EX-L Sport V6, MSM/Black. Mods.
Three weeks later one of the tensioner assembly bolts sheared off at the engine block rendering the car with inop alt/ps. Took the car to Honda and they replaced the tensioner (alt/ps) assembly and used new bolts. Two months later the bolt sheared again. Took the car back to Honda who fixed it for free with new assembly and new bolts.
